    How we choose tours

    Real listings only

Every tour we list is a live listing we checked, with its actual name, starting point, length and price. No made-up “top 10s.”

    Fit over hype

We sort by who a tour suits: first-timers, families, photographers, people without a car. We don't sort by what pays us most.

    No fake reviews

We don't publish star ratings or testimonials. Read verified traveler reviews on the booking site before you buy.

    Planning a Colorado trip

Colorado welcomed 96.8 million visitors in 2025 (Colorado OEDIT), and the most popular guided experiences start in Denver. Summer (June–August) is peak season for national parks and rafting; September and early October bring fall colors and the elk rut; and from November to April the mountains switch to skiing and snowshoeing. Book summer weekends early, and remember that Denver sits at 5,280 feet, with mountain stops much higher. Drink water and pack layers.
